Skyline Medical Center

As we continue our journey together to become THE premier regional medical center for patients from throughout middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky, our staff has earned numerous accolades as our vision becomes a reality.  Here are just a few we know you’ll want to be aware of:

“Best Acute Care Hospital” award.  This honor goes only to the 100 top performing quality hospitals in the U.S., based upon data submitted to Medicare for 17 quality measures in the most common conditions that hospitals treat – heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia care.   Skyline is the only Nashville hospital to have been named to the list every time

Tennessee’s first hospital to earn "Primary Stroke Center Certification" from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.  Surveyors were so impressed that they asked Skyline to serve as a pilot site to assist other hospitals in earning accreditation

Three-year accreditation with commendation for our cancer program by the American College of Surgeon's Commission on Cancer.  Our staff received commendation for six different areas of accomplishment
